Filling the F1 void

After another double header, a weekend with no F1 just feels a bit empty, doesn’t it? But fear not, our Red Bull family are up to all sorts and so there’s plenty of adrenaline to be found until we touch down in Singapore next week. Here are a few ways to fill that pesky F1 void over the coming days, via the world of Red Bull.

Red Bull Cliff Diving, Bosnia and Herzegovina. September 8th

This weekend, Red Bull Cliff Diving returns to stunning Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where divers will compete from the historic single span stone bridge, Stari Most. This iconic bridge, above the emerald water of Neretva River, is cited as one of the world’s most beautiful and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it an unmissable location for Cliff Diving fans. MotoGP and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Misano, Italy. September 7th-9th

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith are among the Red Bull family taking part in this weekend’s MotoGP in San Marino. A fixture on the calendar since 2007, Misano always delivers a vibrant race weekend, not least because of the fiercely passionate fans. The weekend also hosts the penultimate stage of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where the young riders will be trying to keep championship leader Can Öncü from taking the top spot again. World Rally Championship, Turkey. September 14th-16th.

The WRC hasn’t raced in Turkey since 2010, when racing legend Sébastien Loeb was the man to beat in Istanbul. This time, the action has moved to the Mediterranean resort of Marmaris where the stages include rocky mountain tracks, seaside tracks, a street stage and a four-test finale, overall packing in 134km of stages in a 306km itinerary. Word has it that Saturday’s picturesque Datça test will be the one to watch but in general, as a new rally for everyone involved, Marmaris presents a thrilling challenge and a drive into the unknown.
