Senior Electrical Technician (Factory) [R0000754]

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Technician to join our Electronics Team.
You will be responsible for the production of high quality Electrical and Electronic components, looms and assemblies within the time scales set, to required specifications using Autosport or Aerospace connectors, MIL spec wiring, heat shrink moulded parts and PCB assembly.
In this role you will also provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to a team of Electrical Technicians and work closely with the Electronics Production Team Leaders assisting with day-to-day task planning. You will liaise closely with both the Electronics Design and Test & Inspection Groups providing feedback and build information as required.
It is essential for the successful applicant to have strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to work closely with other team members, and enjoy the challenge of working in a high pressured, time sensitive environment. As a requirement for this position you will need previous experience in a Motorsport (ideally Formula One) build environment, with a BTEC NC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).

The following competencies are a pre-requisite for this role:
- Ideally you will be Degree qualified in an Electronics discipline, combined with the relevant experience of Motorsport Electronics.
- A high level understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems used within the Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive industries.
- You will be experienced in producing robust design solutions for small batch, prototype, Analogue and Digital circuits and have experience of working as part of a small multi skilled engineering group.
- You will be competent in producing Technical documentation and specifications.
- You will have a good knowledge of sensor technologies.
- You will be process driven with a tremendous level of self-motivation and initiative, and are an excellent communicator both verbal and written.
- Experience in the use of PCB design tools and Computer Aided Design Harness packages. (Ideally Unigraphics NX8.5 or above) would be advantageous.
The role involves working on a wide variety of projects within our Electronics Design function and alongside our team of Engineers. You will be responsible for the specification, design, test and calibration of our Electrical and Electronic components and their associated equipment, allowing us to meet the requirements of our Engineering function. You will work on our on and off car systems, test rigs and equipment as well as producing the required documentation and procedures to suit. You will be required to carry out fault investigation and resolution of allocated issues. You will be working with various disciplines across RBR and RBT.

Assembly Team Manager [R0000785]

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and goal orientated manager to head up our Drivetrain & Sub Assembly (DTSA) and Hydraulics & Power Unit (HYPU) assembly teams.
As Assembly Team Manager you will lead the groups and ensure that all of our assemblies are built serviced and allocated as required by the business systems and procedures. Working closely with Production Control Department you will ensure the seamless integration of Assembly Team business process into the Red Bull Technology supply chain network.
The successful candidate will have experience in Formula 1, excellent managerial and team building skills and a good understanding of the manufacturing process requirements for both mechanical and hydraulic assemblies. The ability to interrogate CAD software and technical/assembly drawings will be advantageous to the role.
Excellent communication skills, a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to consistently deliver results is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience and a flexible attitude towards the working hours required to hit event deadlines.
