Offering industry leading facilities, this is the perfect opportunity for someone with aspirations to progress their skills and knowledge of off-line programming or someone with an existing knowledge of other CAM Software’s who is looking to work at the peak of high precision engineering.

 

Working closely with the Design Office and Machine Shop, suitable applicants must have excellent communication skills combined with previous experience of 5 Axis CNC Machining, from either a metallic, composite or pattern material background, working to tight tolerances and narrow timescales. This is a technically challenging role and you must be committed to achieving aggressive production targets, with a flexible approach to working hours to meet deadlines as and when production demands require.

Previous F1 / Motorsport experience is not essential.

We are currently looking for a Technical Services Coordinator to join our growing team. Our Technical Services team are responsible for all Planned and Reactive maintenance activities on our busy site and also deliver small to medium sized projects to support the business.

The ideal candidate will be somebody looking to develop a thorough understanding of complex building services systems, both mechanical and electrical and who enjoys problem solving.

To be the successful candidate, you must have a building related qualification (minimum HND) in a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services discipline. Practical knowledge of Building Services systems is desirable, not essential.

You must have a flexible approach and be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Additionally you must have strong communication and organisational skills.

We are currently looking for a Facilities Lead to join our growing team. Our Facilities team are responsible for all Planned and Reactive maintenance activities on our busy site and also deliver small to medium sized projects to support the business.  In addition the team also deliver the full suite of soft services including cleaning, catering, security and front of house services, supporting not only our staff, but also a wide array of visitors to the factory including sponsors, partners, fans and VIP’s.

To be the successful candidate, you be a Facilities Specialist with a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services background (minimum Degree level). In addition previous experience looking after a technically complex, high profile site is essential.

You must have a flexible approach and be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

The role will involve supporting the Senior Hospitality Manager in ensuring our guests have the very best experience at all our events. You will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of hospitality requirements and in defining the team’s hospitality appearances.

 

The successful candidate will support the Senior Hospitality Manager in the organisation of guest hospitality programs including ticket booking, hotel bookings, transfers, shuttle car coordination and entertainment. Alongside this you will be required to assist in the creation and promotion of our hospitality concept in all areas including gift packs, layouts, branding and sponsor implementations. Additionally you will be required to generate income for the team through external ticket sales.

 

You will also be required to process all of the accounting, invoicing, purchase orders, recharge and general financial summary of bookings coupled with ordering, packing, shipping and stock-keeping of all guest merchandising.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisations skills coupled with strong interpersonal and social skills. You will display good communication skills oral and written, strong intuition and attention to detail is essential. The successful candidate will be a willing and enthusiastic team player who’s enthusiasm to assume responsibility and determination to achieve goes beyond expectations. The successful applicant will take ownership of significant components of our F1 transmission design, taking responsibility for the design of high precision parts and assemblies, and ensuring that attention to detail is applied to all aspects of their work.

 

Key elements of the position are:

  • Leading design projects
  • Creative approach to design challenges
  • Liaising with stress analysts, performing calculations for the design of gears, bearings and shafts
  • Specification of dyno testing requirements in conjunction with dyno test engineers and technicians
  • Analysis of test and performance data
  • Technical discussion with suppliers and manufacturing colleagues

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience of transmission design and testing within the Motorsport industry
  • Proficiency in the use of 3D CAD (Training in Siemens NX can be given)

We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible and innovative engineer capable of working to the highest standards to join our Vehicle Performance Group.

The Vehicle Performance Group provide accurate directions to car setup during race events and for the development of future cars.

The primary purpose of the role is to improve car performance with a particular focus on the tyre behaviour and utilisation.

Responsibilities are:

  • To implement tools to analyse car and simulation data
  • To support development and correlation of tyre models in the vehicle simulator
  • To perform pre-event simulations aimed at tyre performance on track
  • To correlate our physical models to track data. 

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background with a master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Physics and a very good working knowledge of Matlab / Simulink. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics principles and tyre dynamics would be an advantage. You will interact with various groups within the organisation and will therefore need good communication and teamwork skills.  While not essential, previous experience in a similar role in Motorsport will be beneficial.  The role is primarily factory based. With the requirement of providing data analysis and support during race events, flexible approach to working hours is essential.

This is a multi-disciplinary role where you will be required to:

  • Develop and validate advanced and bespoke analysis and simulation techniques aimed at improving on-track vehicle performance by enhancing the team's understanding of Vehicle and Aero Performance
  • Review, understand and implement methods from state of the art literature in the areas of Linear Algebra, Optimization, Statistics, Machine Learning
  • Work alongside Modelling, Simulation, Simulator, Vehicle and Aero Performance groups to understand how existing published work can enhance their existing methods and tools
  • Write reusable libraries to be shared with other team members
  • Develop and work with state of the art Software Tools

The ideal candidate will have strong engineering and mathematical skills supported by MSc or PhD in Engineering, Data Science or Applied Mathematics and preferably a 3-5yrs experience in industry or academia. He/she will also be self-motivated, proactive and a good communicator.
