GERMAN GRAND PRIX

Once characterised by two enormous, incredibly fast straights that disappeared off into deep forest, the circuit was remodelled in 2002 and the straights were axed. However, even without those twin power-hungry straights, the current configuration is still a fast circuit and cars are at full throttle for around 64 per cent of a lap. The mitigating factor is a stadium section that slows everything down and again makes set-up tricky. A tough challenge beckons.
