Back in 2010, we sent David Coulthard over to Northern Ireland to fill the streets with some F1 adrenaline at our first Belfast showrun.
We had such a great time that we thought it was time for a return trip, so this Saturday, November 3rd, we’re heading back to the stunning city and guess what? We’re bringing DC and our double-championship winning RB8 with us.
What’s on the menu?
It’s a celebration of motorsport so not only will you get to feel the sound of that phenomenal V8 engine roaring through the streets of Belfast but we’ve also got action from motorcycle stunt rider Mattie Griffin, global drifting star Conor Shanahan in his Nissan 180sx, and very special runs by motorcyclists Jeremy McWilliams and Ryan Farquahr on KMR Kawasaki Supertwin bikes.
The showrun will take place in front of Belfast City Hall. Don’t worry if you can’t find the best viewing spot, we’ll be showing all the action on three giant screens along the route.
When is it all happening?
This Saturday, 3rd November in front of Belfast City Hall. There are three sessions: at 8:00pm, 8.30pm and 9:00pm approximately; lasting around 30 minutes each. (The site will be open for entry from 7.30pm.)
Do I need a ticket?
We don’t charge for donuts. This family event is completely FREE, no ticket required.
Can I see the RB8 before the showrun?
She’ll be on display in the garage in front of City Hall between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. We’re expecting this to be pretty busy so make sure you leave enough time to queue.
You can check out more details about the event here but otherwise, wrap up warm (it’s chilly!) and get ready for some adrenaline and tyre-frying. You bring you and we’ll bring the donuts. See you there!
