It’s nearly February! January is soon to be a thing of the past and that means we’re even closer to the start of the 2018 F1 calendar.

The factory is full of busy bees, hard at work doing crazy things with bits of carbon and making some rather terrifying noises. There really is no sleep 'till Melbourne! But until then, here's another bit of action to fill that F1 void.

Rally X On Ice – Sweden. Feb 3rd
This new, four-round Scandinavian winter championship kicks off in Sweden on February 3rd . Making its debut hot on the heels of the RX2 International Series, the event aims to be the biggest ice-racing series in rallycross history. This is a thrilling new event which hopes to nurture the next generation of rallycross talent as well as delivering some jaw-dropping racing on ice.

The first event takes place at Ostersund in Sweden - the venue for the Swedish round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship – after which it will move on to Holjes and then Norway. Familiar faces from the worlds of Red Bull Global Rallycross, the FIA World Rallycross Championship and IndyCar are expected to compete, including Helio Castroneves, Josef Newgarden, Kevin Eriksson and Robin Larsson.

Dinghy Derby – South Australia. Feb 4th
How about this for some Aussie action? Red Bull Dinghy Derby is back again for more river fun! Dating back to 1981, this prestigious and challenging race is the pinnacle of dinghy racing around the world and this weekend, carefully selected teams will race for glory along a tricky 100km course across the unique river and creek systems in Renmark, South Australia, navigating the Nelbuck Log Jam, Kylie Creek and No Duck Lagoon, amongst others.

Are they quackers? Probably. Is it seriously brilliant racing? Definitely! Find out more here and watch Max and Daniel have a go below.

Red Bull Simple Session – Estonia. Feb 4th
Ready for another year of incredible competition, the world-renowned indoor BMX and skateboarding contest lands at Tallinn's Saku Arena from 3rd – 4th February. The world's top riders and skaters will be ready to throw down the gauntlet and show off their skills, bringing all the best tricks to the table.

This year, brand new, one-off course set-ups await the competitors, designed to challenge them to the limit. Catch all the action from the finals LIVE on Red Bull TV on Sunday, 4th February.

Red Bull Air Race – Abu Dhabi. Feb 2nd – 3rd
Don't forget as we mentioned last week, the Red Bull Air Race returns to Abu Dhabi from 2nd – 3rd February to kick off the season in style. Keep your eyes on the sky via the live steam for all the action from the world's most advanced aerial challenge.
