Red Bull Racing Esports finish third on debut in the first round of the iRacing VRS GT World Championship.
Following the official launch of the Red Bull Racing Esports Team earlier this month, the Team has achieved a podium finish in its very first race. While Max and Pierre were busy on track at the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday afternoon, Frede Rasmussen and Sebastian Job took to the virtual track in the first round of the iRacing GT World Championship.

Spa Francorchamps played host to the six-hour race, and despite a poor strategy call to change tyres in the first round of pitstops, a strong triple-stint through the night from Frede gave the Team its first podium and a positive debut result.
Next up on the calendar is the Porsche Esports Supercup on 13th April in Monza. Frede and Sebastian will be joined by Patrik Holzmann in the first-ever one-make sim racing championship.
The professional 2019 Red Bull Racing Esports squad is made up of 10 drivers: Robin Betka (Germany); Cem Bolukbasi (Turkey); Graham Carroll (UK); Nestor Garcia (Spain); Patrik Holzmann (Germany); Sebastian Job (UK); Aurélien Mallet (France); Frederik Rasmussen (Denmark), Joni Törmälä (Finland) and Zach Taylor (USA).
