MONACO FAMOUS FACES

What a weekend that was! Our ears are still ringing from all that cheering on Sunday (or perhaps they’ve still got water in them from the pool) and we’re a bit hoarse from the sundown singalong, but gosh, it was one we won’t forget in a hurry.

One of the very best things about it was spending it with friends old and new, and as ever, Monaco wouldn’t be Monaco without a few famous faces joining us on the Energy Station and living their best lives.

This year, we were joined by NFL quarterback and total legend, Tom Brady, who in a moment worthy of a thousand GIFs, lobbed a ball off a yacht and across the harbour to a waiting Daniel Ricciardo, who promptly drop kicked it right back.

Bringing the glamour to the Energy Station, supermodel Bella Hadid stopped by to hang with the Team, check out the garage and get involved with Tom and Daniel’s football japes, all while being top of the social media game all weekend.

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones stars Liam Cunningham, Kit Harrington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau swapped their swords for cans of Red Bull and ventured beyond the pit wall, much to the delight of the Team, who once again begged for spoilers to no avail. They still know nothing…

Of course it wouldn’t be Monaco without musicians, and we were thrilled that Albert Hammond Jnr of New York City rockers, The Strokes, was able to join us with his wife Justyna, as did the mighty Mumford and Sons, while Dutch DJ Bakermat took care of the onboard beats on Saturday.

Last but by no means least, our Red Bull family came out to play, including Olympian and World Champion skier, Aksel Lund Svindal, rally driver Andreas Mikkelsen and RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer. Felix Baumgartner also dropped in (although not from space) and to top it all off, parkour supremo Dimitris Kyrsanidis brought some fresh moves, although thankfully none of the assembled guests attempted the same skills, or we’d still be mopping up their cocktails on the deck as we speak.

Thanks to everyone who came along. Sadly it’s all over for another year but we’ve got a couple of new bits of Monaco bling for the shelf and priceless memories to last a lifetime. What a way to celebrate our 250th!
