No Sleep 'Til Melbourne: Filling the F1 Void

It’s grey, it’s chilly and there’s nothing left in the chocolate tin except things filled with strawberry, so it can only mean one thing – it’s January.

Here at the factory, the wheels are in motion and we’re firing on all cylinders (our puns aren’t quite warmed up yet), getting pumped for a whole new year of F1 action. However, with a while to go until the 2017 season officially kicks off, there’s not much for avid F1 fans to get their teeth into.

Don’t panic! Every week, we’re going to be giving you a few ideas to help you get your adrenaline fix until Melbourne. Here’s some cool stuff to get you through this week.

Off-road duelling in Dakar - Dakar Rally, 2nd – 14th January, Argentina.

The legendary Dakar Rally is currently underway and has already proven to be pretty eventful. Insane weather conditions sent Stage 6 to an early bed at the weekend (and Stage 7 has been radically changed), and dramatic incidents led to both Carlos Sainz and Nasser Al-Attiyah retiring from the rally. Meanwhile, lightning caught Slovakian rider Ivan Jakes out during Stage 3 (he still brought his KTM home though – respect!). Catch the action from every stage on Red Bull TV’s Dakar Daily.
