Duties will include:

  • A commitment to learning the skills and knowledge required to operate within the different disciplines of our Car & Component Assembly Team Departments.
  • Be trained to build and service complex Hydraulic & Power Unit car components & systems.
  • Carry out foundation tasks to build and service Gearbox & Drive Train Assemblies.
  • Be involved in the build and servicing of Pit Stop support equipment.
  • Learn our business & production operating systems.

Skills and Experience

  • To be considered for the role you will have:
  • 5 GCSE’s (or expected) at A*- C/9 – 4 including Maths, English and a Science.
  • To demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, commitment and show a keen interest in Car and Component Assembly work and Motorsport.
  • Some mechanical skillset and knowledge & the ability to work with hand tools would be a distinct advantage.
  • A good degree of computer literacy.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team is essential skill with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.

  • Please ensure you are able to travel to Milton Keynes 5 days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking a Software Tester Apprentice. You will be required to commit to learning the skills and knowledge required to operate within the different disciplines of our Integration Lab.

You will learn the process of software testing, validation, verification and related activities required to support races and other events. And you will gain extensive experience and training in testing a wide range of applications supporting different engineering disciplines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the role you will have:

5 GCSE’s at A*-C/9-4 including Maths, English and Science.

A Levels in Maths / Physics and optionally Computer Science or equivalent BTEC are desirable.

Able to think logically, good communication skills and demonstrate a can do attitude.

Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, commitment and show a keen interest in Motorsport through your prior studies and projects.

The ability to work well as part of a team is an essential skill within Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
