Technical Services Coordinator [R0000811]
Closing Date: 11.08.2019Permanent / Full time
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Team who support the day to day running of our site where we design, develop, test and manufacture our multi-championship winning Formula One cars. Red Bull Racing has grown beyond recognition since our humble beginnings at the end of 2004 but our factory remains the beating heart of the team.
Through frequent expansion, the site houses over 500,000 sq. ft. of high end, bespoke commercial office, manufacturing and assembly facilities. The Technical Services Coordinator will work with our Facilities team, who are responsible for all building maintenance and projects across estate. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn about buildings and systems in a cutting edge, fast moving environment, putting knowledge into practise. The site houses almost every type of building services system and is therefore a great place to get going in the working world. We have clean rooms, machine shops, complex specialist systems such as extraction and compressed air. In addition, the latest manufacturing equipment, all of which fall under the remit of the Facilities team.
In terms of career progression, we would see the route for the successful candidate to be within Red Bull Racing moving into a Technical Services Manager role, using the skills gained here to specialise in either Project Management or Facilities Management – wherever the passion lies!
The successful candidate should have a Building Services Degree (or equivalent), enjoy problem solving and be keen to learn hands on. Practical knowledge of Building Services systems is desirable, not essential. You must have a flexible approach and be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
